Incredibly, the hotel has exceeded all expectations!

I want to start by saying that this was our first such experience: We checked into a brand new hotel for the first time, which opened its doors two days before our arrival! We were worried and worried, but all doubts disappeared as soon as we entered the territory! Beautiful, perfectly clean, tidy, polite staff. Insanely hospitable people, it was a pleasure to live with you, honestly! I also want to thank you for your repeated help, there were quite a lot of questions about the taxi, the pharmacy... They immediately gave answers, searched for the necessary information in Google and shared it with us - it could not leave anyone indifferent! Delicious and varied cuisine, buffet - choose what you want, there is also a restaurant - order and enjoy life! The bar is a separate pleasure - there is everything! And the view is a separate courage, almost from any point of the hotel and from all rooms there is a view of the ocean and the neighboring island! They worried about us throughout the whole vacation and asked if we needed something, if the water in the pool was normal - a buzz! Easy check-in, access to the room by code, no cards for you! Perfectly decorated, comfortable and beautiful rooms with a balcony! I want to praise and praise! Thank you all for such a wonderful vacation, we will definitely come back to you and advise our friends! PS My heart was touched when I saw that you can check into the hotel with your four-legged friend! Super!

Bed - very uncomfortable. Breakfast always the same, no pancakes, no porridge. I don't eat eggs so it was a bit complicated. Cold pool. Always forgot to clean the room (every second day)

Nice and calm place near the Arena black sand beach

We came back in the hotel after 6 years, because we loved its clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast and dinner, and it’s calm and quiet in the evenings. Playa la Arena with black sand is very close. The staff is very nice! We were one of the last guests before the hotel closed for renovation, and the best dinner and breakfast were the last ones, a la carte. Hope things will go well for the hotel and staff after the renovation is finished!

No matter to mention that, surely everything that was obsolete or old-fashioned will be replaced during the renovation

Good value for money, friendly staff and a bit old fashioned

Very friendly staff, especially the male waiters from the restaurant may receive a special remark. Value for money we could not complain. Good cleaning and for us with a car a very good location between Teide, Los Gigantes and the 'commercial' places like Costa Adeja and Playa de Las Americas. Also 1h drive through the mountains to Puerto de la Cruz.

Accomodation could use a restyling it's all clean but you see the age (old tiles, bathroom,...). But for what we paid we can not expect 5 star luxery of course. 7.5/10 would be my objective score overall.

Pleasant 5 night stay

The location, the pool area, the food quality were all very good. The hotel is spotlessly clean and externally is very attractive. The rooms and balconies are spacious and have great views.

The ambience in the restaurant and the hotel bar were very canteen like. The rooms are tired looking and the bathrooms need renewing. There are no lifts at the property and all of the rooms are accessed externally from reception and the restaurant, which means that in the occasional bad weather episode (which we experienced on this visit to the island) there is no protection from the elements. Also, bizarrely, the hotel advertises itself as “adults only recommended” and their website declares that a child aged over three years is classed as an adult! However during our stay there were at least three visitors obviously under the age of three as two of them could not yet walk. Whilst chatting with a member of staff they did tell us that the hotel is closing for refurbishment in April so it will be interesting, when we visit the area again next year, to see what changes have been made.

Great place to stay!! Definitely can recommend!

The food was good! The view was great. The entire staff (reception, restaurant, service, etc..) was very(!) Helpful! The room was small but sufficient. The location was great.

It would have been great if plain water had been available for dinner as well (for half pension) since one can't drink the water from the faucet. 1-2 wasy to access plugs in the bedroom would also be great. We didn't need the tv so we used that plug instead.

Food was great but it was freezing at night and that sucked

The food was great, every weekday was a different cuisine. Daily cleaning. The location is good, 400 m from the beach.

It's cold at night and they don't have thick blankets (or hypoallergenic ones). We were sleeping in clothes and it was very very uncomfortable. And it kinda ruined our stay.

Would not recommend this hotel , go for a bit more expensive hotel

First hotel I have been at which doesn’t have cleaning every day, which means no new fresh towels or bedclothes which was a problem for us. It’s an all inclusive hotel but all drinks at the dinner needs to be paid for , even water ... which we found tremendous. The food itself was not good , definitely not worth going. The breakfast was also bad , feels like they serve old ingredients every day. The personal was bad when you confronted them and not service minded at all . Would not recommend this hotel and it’s not worth the money

Back to the 1980s

Our first impression of the hotel was actually good as we were told that we got upgraded to a better room (which was very nice and big with a balcony view to the pool). The food was OK but I definitely wouldn't recommend paying for half board like we did. Better to buy some food at the nearby grocery store or go to a restaurant. The staff were fine and helped us with what we needed. Overall, if you find a room for a very (very!) good price and don't plan to stay around too much except for sleeping then it's a decent place to stay at.

Our experience of this hotel was like going back in a time machine to the 1980's (but without the good music). This was not just in terms of aesthetics (coin-paid washing machines outside the rooms?!?!), design and furniture (that urgently need to be replaced), but also in terms of service and policies. Having to pay for wifi on a daily basis is one thing. But I was shocked to find out we had to pay extra (per day!) to use the safe in our room and that we had to deposit 10 euros to receive a remote control. I will also add that the bed was largely uncomfortable, the bed linning was itchy, the towels we got after the first set was changed were old and worn out (with little strings of fiber sticking out). We could hear the water running through our walls every time the lovely German family in the next room went to the toilet. We could also hear them talk and walk around the room. Our bedroom window was too close to the walking path so unless we closed it we could hear people walking and talking whenever they passed by. Finally, to top it all - the toilet seat was partially broken.

Worth for money spent

The view is spectacular. Staff are friendly. The food is nice. Each night different food with varieties to choose. The staff refill each dish every 10 minutes. Salad, fruit and dessert are lovely too. It definitely worth the money.

The only downside is climbing the stairs few times a day if your room is on the forth floor. No lift.
